SOUL OF TUSCANY & CINQUE TERRE - Semi-Escorted Tour 2025

Day 1 : ARRIVAL

Arrival at the Florence Airport or Pisa Airport and private transfer or shared transfer to a 4* hotel in Montecatini Terme.

Montecatini Terme is a pleasant little town located in the heart of Tuscany close to Florence, Lucca and Pisa but also between Vinci (birthplace of great Leonardo), and Collodi (cradle of the fairytale of the famous puppet “Pinocchio”).In this area, known as Valdinievole, we will rediscover enchanted landscapes, villages and castles that tell us of times gone by and that are true jewels of art.Arrival at the hotel and room accommodation.In Montecatini Terme, charming spa town recently recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the circuit of the Great Spas of Europe, you will have the opportunity to take a walk in the fabulous park (la “pineta”), to visit the Tettuccio (a fascinating spa building and garden where time seems to have stopped in the belle epoque times), to get some beauty or relax treatment or to go shopping in the streets of the center and have fun in one of the trendy clubs.

Day 2 : DAY OFF

Breakfast at the hotel and free time at disposal.

You will be able to choose one of the available activities, or simply to relax and enjoy Montecatini Terme.

Day 3 : WINE TASTING AND LIGHT LUNCH IN A TYPICAL FARM

Breakfast at the hotel.

Late in the morning meeting with the driver in front of your accommodation and heading to a typical farm house for a wine tasting with typical products and light lunch: homemade pasta, cantuccini, vinsanto and grappa.

Day 3 : WINE TASTING AND LIGHT LUNCH IN A TYPICAL FARM

Breakfast at the hotel.

Late in the morning meeting with the driver in front of your accommodation and heading to a typical farm house for a wine tasting with typical products and light lunch: homemade pasta, cantuccini, vinsanto and grappa.

Day 4 : CINQUE TERRE

Breakfast at the hotel and Cinque Terre excursion.

Enjoy a “stress-free” visit to the Cinque Terre with our assistant leading a small group. The real advantage of being part of a small group is that you always have a tour-escort at your disposal, who will take care of you all the time. You’ll be a friend, not a number, and you’ll never walk alone. You will live a day full of unforgettable experiences while exploring one of the most enchanting landscapes in the world. Little villages, suspended between sea and land, completely surrounded by hills and vineyards.The visit begins with RIOMAGGIORE where you can have time to explore the delicious seaside town surrounding a small natural port; then MANAROLA, where you can admire the houses leaning one against the other and stroll along the narrow cobble alleyways and sheltered paths; later a local train will take us to MONTEROSSO AL MARE, where you will be overcome by white beaches with crystal-clear water and luxuriant vegetation that surrounds the little village. Here you will have a couple of hours to plunge into the crystal sea and have your lunch.The next stop will be VERNAZZA, and you can choose to get there by boat (a 10-minute trip with a small additional charge to be paid onsite) or continue the adventure with the Cinque Terre train for a few minutes. From Monterosso, your tour escort will lead you back to head to the nearby town of VERNAZZA, where you will have about 1 hour to visit the small and picturesque harbour, also called "the Pearl of the Cinque Terre", the characteristic view of the emerald water and colorful houses. You will be able to spend some time strolling through the ancient streets, purchasing any last-minute artisanal souvenirs.Please, remember that the tour-leader will never lose sight of you, and will always be there for you during this memorable day.In addition to comfortable clothes, we recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you against the sun!!!

With an expert guide you will enjoy a walk through the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Repubblica Square, Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, Ponte Vecchio, Accademia dei Georgofili and Uffizi square, Signoria square and Palazzo Vecchio, and Loggia dei Lanzi. The journey will end in San Giovanni Square, home of the wonderful Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi’s Dome as well as the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure (on your own) by train to Florence.

With an expert guide you will enjoy a walk through the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Repubblica Square, Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, Ponte Vecchio, Accademia dei Georgofili and Uffizi square, Signoria square and Palazzo Vecchio, and Loggia dei Lanzi.
