Day 1: Arrival In Hanoi
On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time.
Day 2: Hanoi (B)
Meet your guide after breakfast and begin your tour with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Xuan Market. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh complex, visiting Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace (for an outside photo), and Ho Chi Minh‘s private residence. Explore the One Pillar Pagoda, an important symbol for Ha- noi. After lunch, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, and Hoa Lo Prison, known as the „Hanoi Hilton“ during the Ameri- can war. Visit St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the Opera House, and stroll around the Old Quarter. Re- lax with a traditional Vietnamese coffee while observing local life. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi To Halong Bay (B/L/D
Depart by shuttle bus for Halong City, where you’ll board a junk boat to cruise Halong Bay. Enjoy lunch as you sail among the 3,000 islands, and relax in your private cabin or on
deck in the evening.
Day 4: Halong Bay To Hue (B)
Start the day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sun- deck before brunch. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi to catch your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
Day 5: Hue To Hoi An (B)
Your half-day Hue city tour begins with a visit to the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, followed by a tour of the Citadel, home of the Nguyen Dy- nasty emperors. Next, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s oldest and most beautiful. Depart for Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass, known for its stun- ning views. After check-in, the evening is yours to explore Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An (B)
Start your day with a walking tour of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the town’s well-preserved Old Quarter, an ancient house, the Hoi An Museum, a Chinese Assembly Hall, Chau Ong Pagoda, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. End the tour with free time to explore on your own.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An To Saigon (B)
After breakfast, drive to Danang for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, transfer to the Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the vast underground network used during the Vietnam War. Return to Saigon for check-in at your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 8: Saigon To Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Depart for a full-day tour of the Mekong Delta, starting with a boat trip on the Mekong River. Visit a local factory making bricks using traditional methods and a coconut processing factory. Stop at a family home to see how mats are woven from local materials. Enjoy a lunch of local specialties, then visit a Cao Dai pagoda, which blends multiple world religions. Return to Saigon for a farewell dinner at HOME Vietnamese Sai Gon restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Departure From Saigon (B)
Start your morning with a walking tour of Sai- gon’s historic landmarks, including Dong Khoi Street, the Rex Hotel, the Municipal Theatre, the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Reunification Palace. Visit the War Remnants Museum and Ba Chieu Market before heading to the Ngoc Hoang Pagoda. Return to your hotel and later transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
