Day 1: Arrival In Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time before a tour briefing and welcome drinks with fellow travelers
Day 2: Hoi An (B/L)
Begin your full-day tour of Hanoi with a drive past iconic sites like Long Bien Bridge, St Joseph‘s Church, and the Opera House. Explore the bustling Old Quarter’s 36 streets and visit the Ho Chi Minh Quarter, which includes Uncle Ho’s mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, his ‘house on stilts,’ and the One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch at KOTO Van Mieu, visit the Temple of Literatu- re, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the infamous „Hanoi Hilton“ prison.
Day 3: Hanoi To Ninh Binh (B)
Depart for Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, and visit the Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Emperor tem- ples. After lunch (on your own), explore the scenic Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its limestone peaks and peaceful waters. Enjoy a boat trip through valleys and caves before checking in at Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel.
Day 4: Ninh Binh To Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Travel to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning emerald waters and limestone karsts. Board a traditional junk boat and cruise through the bay, enjoying lunch as you explore its secluded areas.
Day 5: Halong Bay To Hue (B)
Start your day with a Tai Chi lesson or simply relax on deck. After brunch, disembark and return to Hanoi for your flight to Hue, the former imperial capital. Check in at hotel.
Day 6: Hue To Hoi An (B)
Begin your morning with a half-day tour of Hue, visiting Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb, Bunker Hill, and the Citadel, home to Nguyen Dynasty emperors. Take a boat trip to the Thien Mu Pagoda. After lunch (on your own), drive over the Hai Van Pass to reach Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An (B)
Today you explore Hoi An’s Old Town on a wal- king tour, visiting its ancient house, the Hoi An Museum, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy free time to explore the town‘s lantern-lit streets in the evening.
Day 8: Hoi An To Saigon (B)
Fly from Danang to Saigon and visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, learning about their significance during the Vietnam War. After exploring the tunnels, return to Saigon and spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 9: Saigon To Mekong Delta/Can Tho (B/L)
Depart early for Cai Be in the Mekong Delta. Cruise on the Mekong Queen, visit the floating market, and sample fresh tropical fruits. Visit local craft factories and enjoy a sampan ride through narrow canals. After a home-hosted lunch, conti- nue cruising towards Vinh Long and then transfer to Can Tho.
Day 10: Can Tho To Saigon (B/D)
Start your day at the Cai Rang floating market, the largest in the Mekong Delta. Explore the water- ways by boat before returning to Saigon in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 11: Departure From Saigon (B)
Take a morning walking tour through Saigon, visiting historic landmarks like Dong Khoi Street, the Rex Hotel, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Reunification Palace. Conclude with a visit to Ba Chieu Market and the Jade Emperor Pagoda before transferring to the airport.
