El Calafate Argentina

El Calafate is a small and charming town lost in the vastness of the Patagonian steppe, it's the main gateway to the magnificent Glaciers Park, a stunning landscape of icy waters, snow-capped mountains and windswept heathlands, of breathtaking glaciers and silent moss-covered woods. Nestled on the edge of a massive lake, the town serves as a tourist base for the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. The town, encircled by the beautiful Lago Argentino and snow-capped mountain scenery, is brimming with quaint tourist shops and restaurants that line the main street. Perito Moreno Glacier, 80km away from the town, is a spectacular must-see. It's considered one of the world’s most awe-inspiring glaciers. El Calafate as a town might not have much to offer, but it's the gateway to a magical enchanting spectacle which you just can't stop admiring.
