קוזומל הוא אי בים הקריבי מול החוף המזרחי של חצי האי יוקטן במקסיקו, מול פלאיה דל כרמן, ובקרבת תעלת יוקטן. העיירה הראשית באי היא סן מיגל דה קוזומל. האי שייך לעיריית קוזומל במדינת קינטנה רו, מקסיקו. ישנם לא מעט מועדוני חוף שמציעים שנורקלינג והאטרקציות המרכזיות הן השוניות שמחוץ לחוף והחנויות לצלילה הרבות. קוזומל מציעה גם מספר אתרים ארכיאולוגיים של המאיה. השרידים הנרחבים ביותר נמצאים ב"סן חרבאסיו", אתר פנימי כמה קילומטרים צפונית לכביש "קרטרה טרנסוורסל". אתר נוסף ממוקם ליד הכפר אל סדראל, פנימה מכביש "קרטרה קוסטרה סור". בפארק פונטה סור, בקצה הדרומי של האי, נמצא מקדש "אל קראקול", שלפי ההערכות שימש כמגדלור על ידי בני המאיה.
